Wi-Fi & Wireless Infrastructure — Los Angeles & Southern California

WI-FI & ACCESS POINT
INSTALLATION

Dead zones in the warehouse, dropped calls in the conference room, forklifts losing scanners between aisles — Wi-Fi problems are usually infrastructure problems. M6 Communications designs, cables, and installs wireless access points across Los Angeles and Southern California facilities, on certified Cat6/6A drops with proper PoE, placed where coverage actually needs them.

Wireless access point mounted in a commercial facility — Wi-Fi installation in Los Angeles
What's Included

Wireless that works wall to wall

We handle the physical layer that Wi-Fi vendors assume someone else did right: placement, cabling, power, and mounting — plus the survey work to prove coverage before and after.

01

Access point installation & cabling

Certified Cat6/6A drops to every AP location — ceilings, warehouse steel, outdoor canopies — with proper PoE and clean mounting.

02

Coverage design & site surveys

AP placement designed around your floor plan, construction materials, and device density — not guesswork with a coverage circle on a brochure.

03

Warehouse & industrial wireless

High-bay mounting, aisle-aware placement for scanners and forklift terminals, and rugged equipment where the environment demands it.

04

Outdoor & yard Wi-Fi

Weather-rated APs and point-to-point wireless links for yards, docks, guard shacks, and between buildings.

05

DAS & cellular infrastructure

Distributed Antenna System cabling and infrastructure when the problem isn’t Wi-Fi but cell signal inside the building.

How It Works

Our process

STEP 01

Walk & survey

We walk the facility, review your floor plan, and identify AP counts and locations — including a wireless survey for complex spaces.

STEP 02

Design & quote

A fixed quote covering drops, mounting, hardware (yours or ours), and configuration coordination with your IT team.

STEP 03

Cable & mount

Certified drops pulled to every location, APs mounted and dressed properly — including high-lift work in warehouses.

STEP 04

Verify coverage

Post-install validation so "it should reach" becomes "it reaches" — documented before we call it done.

Local Coverage

Wireless builds across the region

We cable and install wireless infrastructure across the LA metro — warehouse Wi-Fi in the Inland Empire and South Bay, office wireless in downtown and Orange County towers, and campus coverage from Ventura to San Bernardino.

We work alongside your IT team or MSP: they manage the network, we make sure the physical layer — placement, cable, power — is never the weak link.

Common Questions

Wi-Fi installation questions

How many wireless access points does my building need?

It depends on square footage, construction (concrete and warehouse racking eat signal), and how many devices connect. A typical office floor might need one AP per 1,500–2,500 sq ft; warehouses vary widely with racking. We survey and design the count rather than guessing.

Can you fix Wi-Fi dead zones in a warehouse?

Yes — that’s one of our most common calls. Usually it’s AP placement and cabling, not the equipment: APs mounted where the electrician could reach instead of where coverage requires. We redesign placement, add drops, and verify coverage aisle by aisle.

Do you supply the access points or install ours?

Either. We install and cable customer-supplied hardware (UniFi, Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus, and others), or supply equipment as part of the project — whichever fits how your network is managed.

Do you install outdoor Wi-Fi for yards and docks?

Yes — weather-rated APs, outdoor-rated cable and conduit, and point-to-point links to reach guard shacks, yards, and detached buildings.

What does commercial Wi-Fi installation cost?

For most facilities the cost is driven by the number of AP locations (each needs a certified drop and mounting) plus hardware. Per-location installed pricing typically runs a few hundred dollars each before hardware; we quote fixed after a walk-through.
