What's Included

A complete camera system, not just cameras on a wall

Anyone can screw a camera to a wall. We design coverage, run certified cabling, configure recording and remote access, and leave you a system your team actually uses.

01

IP camera system design & installation

Camera placement engineered for real coverage — entrances, docks, yards, POS, parking — with the resolution and lensing to actually identify what matters.

02

NVR / recording & remote viewing

Network video recorders sized for your retention needs, configured for phone and desktop viewing, with alerts where you want them.

03

Cabling & PoE infrastructure

Every camera fed by certified Cat6 and proper PoE — no barrel connectors and coax splices hiding in the ceiling. New drops and pathways included.

04

Access control & intercoms

Badge readers, door strikes, gate intercoms, and video doorbells integrated into the same low-voltage backbone.

05

Upgrades & takeovers

Replacing an old analog CCTV system or taking over an installer-abandoned system — we assess what’s reusable and upgrade what isn’t.

How It Works

Our process

STEP 01

Coverage walk

We walk your site, note entrances, blind spots, lighting, and network location, and design camera counts and placement around what you’re protecting.

STEP 02

System proposal

A fixed quote for cameras, recorder, cabling, and setup — with camera specs stated plainly, not buried in model numbers.

STEP 03

Licensed installation

Mounted, aimed, focused, cabled, and configured by licensed low-voltage technicians. Clean penetrations, sealed and to code.

STEP 04

Handoff & training

Remote viewing set up on your devices, retention verified, and a short walkthrough so your team knows how to pull footage.

Local Coverage

Protecting sites across SoCal

We install camera systems for warehouses and logistics yards in the Inland Empire, offices and retail across the LA metro and South Bay, and industrial facilities from Ventura County to Orange County.

Businesses often call after a break-in — but the cheaper time to call is before one. Either way, we can usually survey within days.

Common Questions

Camera installation questions

How much does commercial camera installation cost in Los Angeles?

Small commercial systems (4–8 IP cameras with an NVR) typically land in the low-to-mid thousands installed, depending on camera quality, cable runs, and mounting heights. Larger warehouse or multi-building systems are quoted per design. Site surveys and quotes are free.

Do you install cameras for warehouses and industrial yards?

Yes — large facilities are our specialty. Long cable runs, pole and dock mounting, outdoor-rated equipment, and yard coverage are everyday work for our crews.

Can I view my cameras from my phone?

Yes. Every system we install includes remote viewing configured on your phones and desktops before we leave, plus motion alerts if you want them.

Can you replace or upgrade an old CCTV system?

Yes. We assess your existing cabling and cameras, reuse what’s worth keeping, and upgrade you to modern IP cameras and recording — often reusing existing pathways to keep cost down.

Are you licensed for security camera work?

Yes — M6 Communications is a licensed, insured California low-voltage and electrical contractor (License #CA1095229), so the cabling, power, and mounting are all done legally and to code.
